Avil Menezes is a fellow chartered accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (membership number 118204). He has done his Bachelor’s in Law and Master’s in Commerce from University of Mumbai. He has more than 20 years of experience in consulting, finance and banking sector and has worked with leading companies like Tata Chemicals Limited and ICICI Bank Limited.

Avil is one of India’s earliest Insolvency professionals registered with the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (Membership no. IBBI/IPA-001/IPP00017/ 2016-17/10041). He has good exposure to various debt restructuring schemes notified by RBI for stressed companies and the Resolution process under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code .He is currently handling large exposures both for Insolvency Resolution and Liquidation. His expertise in evaluating the financial situation of bankrupt enterprises and providing sustainable recovery solutions makes him one of the most sought after Insolvency Professionals.

Avil carries extensive experience in Corporate and SME debt related products with exposure to working capital finance, trade finance and project finance across various industry sectors. He is empanelled with major public sector banks, private sector banks, ARC’s and financial institutions.

Avil is a regular speaker on Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016 at various forums and has been trained by the World Bank for train the trainer’s programme.

Prajakta Menezes is an Advocate (Bar Council Reg No : MAH/520/2016), Chartered Accountant (Membership No 121056) and Registered Insolvency Professional with IBBI (Membership No. IBBI/IPA-001/IPP01349/2018-19/12016). She carries extensive experience of more than 15 years having worked in the field of indirect taxes and insolvency resolution services. She has worked with leading firms like Khaitan & Co, PDS Legal (member of Ernst & Young), PwC and RSM. She has proven expertise in insolvency laws including CIR / Liquidation process.

She handles assignments on behalf of banks for initiating CIR against their defaulting borrowers, acting as legal counsel in large Liquidation as well as CIR matters, she also represents Resolution Applicants for approval of resolution plan by Adjudicating Authority. She is empanelled with major public sector banks, private sector banks, ARC’s, financial institutions. She is handling matters for both Insolvency Resolution and Liquidation.

Harish, an ex-banker possesses strategic & functional experience at senior management level with career spans over ~40 years (27 years dedicatedly in Infrastructure, Project Finance & Corporate Finance) of high-value banking and finance roles in the topmost Banking & NBFC besides Infrastructure Development entities.

Harish worked in senior management positions with State Bank of India (Corporate Accounts Group-SBU and Project-Finance-SBU) for more than 30 years. Besides, he set-up and headed Infrastructure Credit Vertical in Reliance Capital Ltd, Mumbai as Senior Vice President (2011-2015). Harish has deep understanding of corporate- side insights while he set-up and headed finance function of new Solar business vertical at one of largest Renewable power IPPs in India, Mytrah Energy, Hyderabad (2016-17)

Harish is graduate from Delhi University with Commerce specialization besides a Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers, India (CAIIB). He was a Member of National Solar Task Force-FICCI- 2016-18, member of Sub- Committee on Healthcare, CII – Western Region – 2010 and a member of IBA- Steering Committee, mandated by RBI for formulation of Valuation Standards for banking Industry in respect of Real Estate assets. Harish is regularly delivering lectures on Infrastructure Finance, NPA Management and IBC-2016 at prestigious institutions like NIBM, Pune, IIM Lucknow, etc.

He is qualified Insolvency Professional registered with IBBI (IBBI/IPA-001/P-01469/2018-19/12340) since Jan 2019 and brings in senior-management level experience for 40 long years in his IP practice and presently handling high- value CIRP / liquidation cases.

He has completed the Post Graduate Insolvency Programme 2021-23 with Grade “Excellent” conducted by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs, Think Tank of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. He has spearheaded various CIRP and Liquidation assignments over the past 3 years having admitted claim size of more than INR 13,000 crores. He has gained professional experience at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, where he worked as Senior Consultant specializing in IT Internal Control Risk Management.

Shouvik is an active member of Industry Chambers & Associations, and he is an empaneled Insolvency Professional with State Bank of India & Canara Bank.
